During his annual shareholder meeting in 2018, the legendary Warren Buffett referred to crypto and bitcoin as rat poison. He also said he wouldn't pay $25 for all the bitcoin in the world and warned that things would end badly.
His predictions came true (somewhat) as the past few years have been rough for the digital currency.
However, it seems to be back with a vengeance.
FOMO—short for Fear of Missing Out—is probably something many people are suffering from (maybe even Buffett?) as a result of Bitcoin reaching new all-time highs this year and all the hype that it has gathered after it was "left for dead" just a couple of years ago (or at least it felt like it).
To put things into perspective, in December 2018, the price of one Bitcoin was around ~$3,740. Fast-forward to March 2024, and it reached eye-opening new highs of $70,000 on Friday, 03/08. It pulled back to $68,000 before the market closed.

In a world where not everyone is the same, and each individual has their own belief systems and risk tolerance about investments, my job and duty to my subscribers as an investment professional is to provide them with the facts and the information at hand and allow them to make their own educated decisions.
And that's what this edition is about.
